Here I am with Rory and Byrdie when they were only 8 weeks old! Scott and I fell in love with the Boxer breed about 20 years ago. Through the years, we have fostered and adopted many Boxers in need of their forever home, mostly through Carolina Boxer Rescue. We usually have 5-6 dogs in our pack at home! This time around, we decided to go for the puppy experience. Rory was “planned,” Byrdie was a last minute addition!

I wanted to find a way to combine my love of making things and my love of dogs. I also feel guilty for “buying” instead of rescuing and I want to try to help in another way. I’m really excited about this new venture!

Carolina Boxer Rescue is a wonderful organization, run by incredible people. I always feel certain that any donation made to them will be maximized to help as many dogs as possible. The dedication and selflessness of their volunteers just amazes me. Being deeply involved in dog rescue is HARD.
