Our rescue stories…
Connor was our first dog we adopted together soon after we got married. A Boxador (Lab/Boxer). We loved that boy sooo much.
Georgia (Gigi) First attempt at fostering and foster failed in 0.6 seconds.
Foster Emma-dog. On the day she arrived and then after about a week with us. She had a golf ball size MCT on her side when she arrived. She was only expected to live a few months, but she lived with us for 3 years.
Emma-dog running free! She was such a happy, sweet girl.
Gigi, Connor and Emma. Gigi and Connor were so bonded.

We transported this girl!
Woody was an owner-surrender. His first parents really loved him, but they knew he couldn’t have the life he deserved with them. He is now 13 and doing great. Love this boy so much!
Woody in formal attire!
Ollie was living on the street. Someone took him to a shelter and named him Ollie. This photo was taken by his foster mom!
Ollie went to a home nearby where it wasn’t working out. The rescue asked if we could pick him up and just keep him overnight.
He stayed forever. Woody wasn’t going to let him leave! They were best friends instantly!
Those eyes. Those ears!!
Losing this guy really hurt and still does almost a year after his passing. No dog has ever loved me the way Ollie loved me. 100% devotion.
This guy only stayed with us for a day. He went to a great home!

Foster Lulu head a really weird looking growth on her head. We got her the plastic surgery she needed and… what a cutie!! She went to a wonderful home where she is adored!
Gigi, Woody, Ollie and LULU!
Lulu - I still keep in touch with her mom!!
Foster Odie stole my heart. Luckily I found a home for him right in my neighborhood. I offered free dog-sitting for life and they took me up on it!! :)
Ollie and Odie - the ears!
Sophie, Woody, Ollie - Sophie loves her big bros so much!!
Odie’s siblings at his forever home.
Foster Sophie was 5 months old when we picked her up from a Boxer rescue in Knoxville. We were her 3rd home! We were told not to even think about keeping her.
We worked with a dog behaviorist and took her back to Tennessee when she was ready to be adopted.
It wasn’t working out in her new home, so she came back…
Back forever!
Woody and Sophie are both still doing great. They love their baby brother and sister, Rory and Byrdie!
Foster April. She was so scared…
April’s new family
Foster Minnie…. The sweetest dog we’ve ever had
She was never healthy even though she was only 2 years old, so we decided she would stay with us until she got well. She fit in with our pack so perfectly.
She never got well… She lived with us for 6 months before we discovered she had cancer that had progressed beyond treatment. 6 months was not long enough for her to have the good life she deserved…
Foster Weezer - he was a handful!!!
Very sweet boy! Found a wonderful home.
Foster Fiona. I was her very first human. She bonded to me so hard, never let me out of her sight!
The rescue found a home for her but the woman ghosted us. So, they let me keep her. I was so relieved because I had fallen so in love with her. Pure sweetnessl!!
